The big idea…
In 2011, FireResQ, Inc was founded on a shoe-string budget in a small upstairs office. After analyzing thousands of internet search results, we recognized a market opportunity to offer hose online. Our goal: eliminate painfully long lead times from manufacturers and ship the product to the customer quickly and efficiently.

Why should you have to wait for necessary equipment? Simply – we say – that does not have to be the case. By stocking the majority of our products, we are able to effectively ship most items out the same business day. In addition, we opened multiple fulfillment centers across the U.S., reducing transit times for all orders. Today, our websites are able to deliver 95% of our inventory in one-to-two days.
Though the Years
Started in 2011 by a 20 year firefighter, FireHoseDirect was founded on the recurring need for fire departments to replace fire hoses so they can meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards. Based in Mooresville, North Carolina, we were determined to curb long manufacturer lead times, offer competitive pricing and decrease long transit shipping times. Over time, the demand for fire hoses expanded into the commercial/industrial sector, government entities and even residential customers.
Started in 2015, CamlockDirect was founded on the need for industrial companies to purchase camlock fittings and hoses online. We decided to use our e-commerce experience, combined with our working knowledge of stocking, warehousing and shipping, and apply it to serve customers that needed products shipped out the same day as ordered. Over time, the demand again expanded to government entities and residential customers.
Started in 2021, 911Wipes was developed to create an alcohol-free, oversized, textured, disposable soap wipe for firefighters, but has expanded to EMS, law enforcement, construction, landscaping, survey and outdoors applications.
According to the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), wiping down skin areas such as hands, neck, face and jaw at the fire scene can help reduce the risk of coming into contact with PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). Studies conducted testing for PAHs found that using simple soap-based wipes after being in a toxic environment can reduce exposure by up to 54%.
