Aluminum storz cap with cable. Machined from forged 6061 - T6 aluminum. Hard coat anodized components per MIL-A-8625 Type III Class 1. Buna-N gaskets to resist most hydrocarbons, oils, gasoline, acids and greases. Complies with DIN standards which require that Storz heads must be forged when used in firefighting applications.

A Storz fitting enables a quarter turn sexless connection, no female or male side, with another Storz fitting. Connection features hooks and flanges with seal made by built-in included gaskets.

The Safe Water Drinking Act section 1417 requires "Lead-Free" products to be a minimum of 99.75% lead-free.
